Elegant home of one of the most prominent gentlemen in Charlottetown in the 1870s, Alexander Brown, a banker, married to the daughter of Hon. George Coles, Father of Confederation and Premier of PEI. Designed to be large and impressive, yet with a welcoming air. The warmth of the home still remains with two large front living rooms featuring marble fireplaces and a winding staircase to spacious, well-appointed rooms on the upper two levels offering rich colours and luxurious comfort.
